Terms of Service

This is an English summary. The German version is legally binding.

PostConnect is a Shopify app that serves exclusively as a software interface for creating shipping labels via the Austrian Post PLC API. PostConnect is not a shipping carrier. Key terms:

• The app is provided "as-is" without any warranty of availability, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose
• Billing is handled exclusively through Shopify's billing system
• A PLC account with Austrian Post is required (separate agreement between merchant and Post AG)
• Postage and carrier-related costs are described under External Charges
• The merchant is solely responsible for safeguarding their PLC credentials and for all activities conducted through them
• The provider is not liable for shipping carrier errors, delays, lost/damaged shipments, or data entered by the merchant
• The provider is not liable for any indirect damages, lost profits, or consequential damages
• Total liability is limited to subscription fees paid in the last 12 months (€0 for free plan users)
• In case of app downtime, labels can be created directly via the PLC LabelCenter at plc.post.at
• Cancellation is done by uninstalling the app; all data is deleted within 48 hours
• Austrian law applies; jurisdiction is Innsbruck, Austria
