How it works
From cart to parcel in three steps.
All you need is a business customer account with Austrian Post (PLC). PostConnect does the rest.

Connect Austrian Post
Install the app, enter your PLC credentials, choose a sender address. With test credentials you can try everything safely in the test environment.

Select orders
Right in the order or several at once via the bulk action. Product, weight and additional services are pre-filled.

Print & done
The label goes straight to the printer. The tracking number is added to Shopify, the order is fulfilled and the status is tracked automatically.

Do I need a contract with Austrian Post?
Yes. You need a business customer account for Austrian Post's PLC interface. You enter the credentials once in the app. Postage and additional services are billed to you directly by Austrian Post.
Which printers are supported?
Any laser printer (A4, A5, 2×A5) and thermal printers from Zebra, DYMO, Brother and Phomemo for 100×150 and 100×200 mm labels. Direct printing without a print dialog runs via the free QZ Tray.
Can I try PostConnect first?
Yes. The Free plan includes 10 labels per month. With Austrian Post test credentials the app automatically switches to the test environment – no real shipments are created there.
Does international shipping work?
Yes. For shipments outside the EU, PostConnect transmits the customs data of the items and Austrian Post creates the CN23. The app generates commercial and pro forma invoices from the order.
Where is my data stored?
On servers in the EU. Credentials and bank details are stored encrypted, and you set the retention period yourself.
