Additional services: cash on delivery, preferred delivery & more

In the label dialog you choose Austrian Post additional services with a click. Which ones are available depends on your Austrian Post contract.

Choose what is offered

In Settings, on the PLC account under Shipping products and additional services, tab Additional services, you decide which services appear in the label dialog and in which order. Refresh fetches newly enabled services from Austrian Post.

Greyed out means the selected shipping product doesn't allow this service. Some services are also not available for every postcode, such as delivery by 10 am.

Cash on delivery

1. Add your bank account in Settings under Addresses & bank accounts.
2. Choose Cash on delivery in the label dialog. The order total is pre-filled as the amount; you pick the bank account.

Cash on delivery can't be combined with delivery to a parcel locker.

Preferred delivery

• Preferred post office, parcel locker, post office pickup, PO box: search the location by postcode, city or name.
• Preferred day, preferred date, preferred time window: enter the date or start and end time.
• Preferred location: choose from a list, such as garage or terrace.

Security & handling

• Additional insurance / declared value: up to €10,000.
• Signature, personal delivery, own-hand delivery, return receipt, registered mail.
• Fragile, pallet, no partial delivery, reusable box.
• Dangerous goods (limited quantity): with UN number.

If a detail is missing or invalid, such as IBAN, UN number or location, PostConnect shows it right at the field.

Tip: with shipping rules you preset additional services for certain countries or shipping methods automatically.
